gypsy runaway

about

Gypsy runaway. This version is a horn arrangement of a very cool rock song. Originally written for Fleetwood Mac, it is a masterful arrangement of verse & chorus.
Another version was recorded by Rick Bowen of Celine Dion fame. That version was recorded on the Pink Floyd soundboard at Abbey Roads studio for the movie, The Life & Times of Jeffery Dalmer.... go figure

lyrics

GYPSY RUNAWAY

Heavenly night under the moonlight
lay your body, lay your body down
Find you at the crossroads, down on your knees
don’t ya do it baby, I’m beggin ya please

Destination midnight,back on the run
over the top,under the gun
Over your shoulder,lovers & friends
on the road to nowhere & it never ends

The road goes on forever anyway
you might as well be a gypsy runaway
and runaway with me

Listen to the wind howl, hear the sea moan
wrap your arms around me & I’ll take you home

Be my gypsy,gypsy runaway
Be my gypsy, be my gypsy runaway
