Sitting outside a coffee cafe in Pukalani, Maui when a bass and beat hit me and then a tune,then all the lyrics... yeah ,one of THOSE rare fleeting moments. So I sanf the tune into my mic app cause I knew I wouldn't remember, Lots of songs an poems got away like that.
At home I worked out the chords and arangment and recorde a rough take in the studio. Some months later I started recording the drums, guitar and bass. I called on my talented brother in R.I. to help me add some of his guitar magic. Nothing he loves better except Amy and the dogs.
I spent a lot of time time mixing to get that ol time soul vibe groove going and make it low fi. So here it is
