The creaking porch, the rocking horse, the mission bells that ring

There it was, the mystery where wind and snow were swept.

Frost is growing on the pain I pour myself a scotch
Starring at the TV set, there’s nothing there to watch
A coat is hanging by the door saying we should go
Ride into the mystery, into the wind and snow.

Abandoned toys upon the shore as I take my morning walk
Imagine what they would say if only they could talk
